now finds herself more in love with many patient-pets as time goes by!
She loves keeping busy and wants every pet to have the chance to be able
to be 'fixed' though she knows and has seen that this is not always
possible. Animal abuse drives her REALLY crazy and she does not hold
back if confronted with it. She is a tiny dynamo for proper animal
treatment. In her words " I think I like animals better than people!"
She recently completed her certification as a veterinary technician
after graduating from Bergen Community College. Melissa most enjoys the
laboratory aspects of veterinary medicine, being very organized and
detail oriented in every task. Additionally, surgical monitoring and
assistance fascinate her and working at Park View allows her to hone
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading science fiction, jogging and
spending time with her twin 4-year old nephews. She is a great baker and
brings a batch for her co-workers when she bakes something yummy!
